RiskPoint Sweden establishes a new Business area

In the line of our business growth ambitions, we are proud to announce the creation of a new Business area per 1st of May 2021.

This new Business area will be aiming at facilitating any kind of financial requirements - such as swapping credit risks with insurance arbitrating solvency and security requirements between bank and insurance - in any sectors, including potentially renewable energy. It will start in Sweden with the ambition to expand product into other territories, with a first priority for the greater Nordics.

This new area has assemblies to M&A and we do see its potential as a great opportunity growing our product spread with strong contribution to RiskPoint while it is cementing our agility, entrepreneurship, innovation and not least our position as being the Underwriter of Choice.

Jan Jonassen will take lead for this new Business area, reporting to Kenneth Nielsen, CEO RiskPoint Group.

Due to the new role for Jan Jonassen, he will leave his current position as Managing Director for RiskPoint Sweden. Until a replacement for Jan has been found, Agnetha Estwall, presently board Member of RiskPoint Sweden and Denmark, will act as interim country manager for RiskPoint Sweden.

This change will be effective 1st May 2021. Please join us in giving Jan and Agnetha a warm welcome in their new RiskPoint adventures.
