RiskPoint appoints Country Manager in Spain
It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of María José Cruz as Country Manager for RiskPoint Spain as of September 1st 2022. In addition, María José will continue in her current role as Head of M&A, Mediterranean.
María José joined RiskPoint in 2019 and contributed to the establishment of our Spanish office in Madrid. María José spent more than eleven years in the M&A Insurance team at AIG, heading at different times the team in different European countries but always with particular focus on Southern Europe. Prior to becoming an underwriter, María José spent over seven years in private practice as a corporate lawyer at Deloitte, Clifford Chance and Allen & Overy, specializing in domestic and cross border M&A and private equity transactions as well as in capital markets. María José is admitted to the Madrid bar and she holds a LLM from the Instituto de Empresa.
