Business Travel Insurance
Business Travel Insurance provides protection to employees whilst travelling on business. All employees are protected from the moment the business travel commences untill arrival back at home/workplace. Policies can be arranged based on actual travel days, number of travelling employees, or other methods suitable to the insured.
The yellow/blue insurance card
The yellow / blue health insurance card does not cover business trips, even though it is only a short visit to a foreign business associate, trade show visits, customer meetings etc.
Illness abroad can be expensive
If the company sends an employee abroad without an insurance, it can be an expensive and unpleasant experience. If the employee becomes ill or is injured during the stay, hospital expenses, treatments and medicines, must be paid by their own pocket.
